“Had sea bass with seasonal veg. It was lovely. 2 good size fillets. Hubby had skewered chicken with rice. He loved it! Pudding were 3 scoops of ice cream from Snugburys & sticky toffee pudding. Both were good size portions & yummy! Eat here frequently & food is always good. A very popular venue, & would recommend booking to guarantee a table. Staff are lovely & very welcoming.”

“The food here is absolutely fantastic, no particular frills but absolutely fantastic flavour, I had the Thai style monk fish skewers and my lady had the fish pie, both incredibly tasty and the portion sizes were plenty, very filling. The atmosphere is very friendly, welcoming and cosy, nothing is too much trouble. It’s not a cheap place but it’s not overly expensive either with the exception of maybe the wine and beer, you certainly feel like you have spent your money well on a top tier meal and evening out. I had been here before on a date nearly 10 years ago and its as good now as it was then.”
“We booked a late Sunday meal after a busy day. Our table was ready when we arrived. We had a nice drink first and then ordered. Our food arrived promptly and was piping hot. Both excellent and there was a nice atmosphere in the pub.”
“The Crown holds a special place in our hearts. We absolutely love it and have never had a bad experience. We go around Christmas as a little tradition and went there to celebrate finding out we were having our baby girl. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The food is incredible and there are so many wonderful choices. If you ever get the chance to eat here, I would highly recommend.
