Booking a Table

We encourage you to book a table in advance by using the OpenTable form.  If our online booking system isn’t showing you the time that you require, then please give us a call on 01270 820472 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Likewise, if you’re passing and haven’t booked, please feel free to pop in and we’ll certainly see what we can do.  Our policy is that we cannot accept bookings by email or social media.

Please note that tables of up to 6 people may be booked online.  For tables of 7-10 people, please give us a call!  We are not able to accept reservations for our patio area.

Other Information

Dogs

Sadly, we are not dog friendly (other than assistance dogs) in our inside public areas but we welcome you to bring a dog to our patio area but they must be on a lead and under control at all times.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the pub and we have also extended this policy to include e-cigarettes too. We kindly ask that smokers respect the space of other diners even in our outside area. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Children

Well behaved children are very welcome at ‘The Crown’ and we have a children’s menu always available. We do ask that parents/carers encourage their children to be respectful of other diners especially after 7pm in the evenings. There is a baby changing facility in the ladies’ toilet.
