Our Food
Our menu is full of the dishes that make ‘The Crown’ what it is today and we aim to use as much fresh and local produce as possible and produce almost all our dishes on site by our team of hard-working chefs. We are well known for our key signature dishes…our steak and ale pie is legendary whilst Head Chef Muhammed’s curries are simply outstanding. A passion of ours is vegetarian food and we cater for vegans too, ensuring that there’s always something to tempt. On Sundays, a choice of two traditional roasts is always available and we have a great reputation for the size of our portions and the consistent quality of our food and service.
Our Drinks
There is always a choice of six traditional cask ales; two of which are regional guest beers as well as our own brew LEGEND, named after the Stoke City goalkeeper Dennis Herod, Anna’s grandad. We are blessed to have a number of extremely good breweries within a few miles and routinely serve at least one from Cheshire, Shropshire or Staffordshire with guest appearances from further afield.
